No post about the fire yet? ;) I was watching a little TV Chile today & the aftermath looked pretty bad. Not much you can do with strong winds like that.
Well it was in a neighbourhood quite a long way from us. Actually i didn't even know about it until a friend called from Santiago asking whether it affected us...there was no smoke nor smell around us. I did see a helicopter with a 'water bomb' hanging from its underside. The fire was apparently caused by 2 illegal 'carboneros', guys who make charcoal. In a residential neighbourhood. Clever, eh?
